I would like to share with Dafa practitioners how studying the Fa helped me overcome many technical computer problems.
During the last five years my computer broke down several times and I spent significant sums of money to repair it. It is an indispensable tool--I use the computer constantly, both for my day job and my Dafa work. But the last time it crashed I decided to just let it be and buy a brand new one. I then asked a technician to transfer all my files and programs from the old computer to the new one. I felt that I absolutely needed his help, but, as it turned out, I was wrong.
The technician, who was short of time and could only stay for about an hour, only transfered part of the data. He promised to come the following day and complete the work, but he failed to show up, even after I called him a few times.
With my new computer having only part of the data, and my old one broken, I couldn't do much work, so, I began to read one of Master's lectures. Then, amazing things happened. I suddenly knew how and where to get all the missing programs, and how to install them on my new computer. So, that's precisely what I began to do. In three days, I managed to load my new computer with all the missing files and programs, rendering it fully operational.
How was I able to do that? How could I manage without the computer technician's help? This is how I see it at my current level of understanding:
Reading the righteous Fa wholeheartedly clears confusion and opens our wisdom. It sharpens our memory and brings to the surface things long forgotten. It increases our energy, which, in turn, stimulates our brain. The Fa disperses stray thoughts and worries, and thus lets logic and pure thinking manifest. Thinking hard and stubbornly with an attachment to accomplishing things yields poor results, while taking things lightly, letting go and immersing oneself in the Fa can get amazing results.
