(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China include incidents of persecution that took place in 16 cities or counties in 12 provinces. In this report, ten Falun Dafa practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detentions, and at least 22 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Fu'an City, Fujian Province] Mr. Liu Jiansheng Arrested and Detained
Lin Shu from Guanpu, Fu'an City, Fujian Province, arrested Mr. Liu Jiansheng, a practitioner from Fu'an City. Mr. Liu Jiansheng is now detained in Fu'an Detention Center.
2. [Guangdong Province] Ms. Yuan Lini and Ms. Gu Zhiming Sentenced to Forced Labor
On May 11, 2010, Ms. Yuan Lini, a practitioner from Hubei Province, and Ms. Gu Zhiming, a practitioner from Sichuan Province were arrested because they were talking to people in public about the practice and persecution of Falun Gong. Ms. Gu Ziming was arrested by 610 Office officials from Tianhe District, Guangzhou City. At approximately 9:50 p.m. that same day, Ms. Yuan Lini was arrested by police officers from nearby Huancun Village.
In late June, 2010, the Tianhe District 610 Office in Guangzhou City sentenced Ms. Yuan Lini to one year of forced labor, and Ms. Gu Zhiming to two-years of forced labor. These two practitioners were taken to Guangzhou Chapo Forced Labor Camp that same day, where they were given physical examinations. The result showed that they had illnesses. The officials from the labor camp didn't accept them, and took them back to Tianhe District Tangxia Detention Center in Guangzhou City, where they are still being detained.
3. [Jining City, Shandong Province] Mr. Yao Aihua and Ms. Lv Li Arrested
On July 20, Mr. Yao Aihua and Ms. Lv Li, practitioners from Jining City, Shandong Province, were arrested while they were having their printers fixed at Xianyinglvdi in Jining City.
4. [Nanning City, Guangxi Province] Ms. Liao Xiuqing Arrested
At 8:50 a.m. on July 30, 2010, police officers from Nanning City, Guangxi Province arrested Ms. Liao Xiuqin, a practitioner from Nanning City, and confiscated her computer, printer and other personal property. Ms. Liao's whereabouts are still unknown.
5. [Zunhua City, Hebei Province] Mr. Wang Jian Detained in a Forced Labor Camp
Mr. Wang Jian, a practitioner from Xingwangzhai Village, Xingwangzhai Township, Zunhua City, Hebei Province, was sentenced to forced labor and taken to Tangshan Kaiping Forced Labor Camp.
6. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Ying Arrested and Detained
Officers from the Xing'anmeng Police Bureau, Ulan Hot City, Inner Mongolia, arrested Ms. Wang Ying, a practitioner from Anshan, Liaoning Province, and took her to Xing'anmeng Detention Center.

7. [Chongqing City] Mr. Liu Weizhong Arrested
On June 30, 2010, police officers arrested Ms. Feng Ping, a practitioner from Changshou District, Chongqing City, and took her to Chongqing Brainwashing Center. On the morning of July 27, Ms. Feng Ping was released and returned home, but the police had arrested her husband Mr. Liu Weizhong by the time of her return.
8. [Kaifeng City, Henan Province] Mr. Liu Qingying Arrested
On the afternoon of July 31, 2010, police officers arrested Mr. Liu Qingying, a practitioner from Kaifeng City, near Shuangtun Village in the east suburban area. They ransacked her home and confiscated her Dafa books and truth-clarifying materials.
9. [Chongqing City] Mr. Liu Guoshu Arrested
At 11:00 a.m. on July 30, 2010, Zhao Guoyou and three other policemen arrested Mr. Liu Guoshu, a practitioner from Caijia Town, Jiangjin, Chongqing City, and ransacked his home.
10. [Shanghai City] Additional Persecution News about Ms. Yang Aihua and Ms. Lin Liqin
Ms. Yang Aihua was arrested on September 17, 2009. Changning District Court put her on trial in early December 2009, but didn't declare the result publicly. Later Ms. Yang Aihua was sentenced to a three-year prison term.
Ms. Lin Liqin was arrested on August 18, 2009, and sentenced to one year and three months of forced labor. The expiration date is November 2010. Ms. Lin Liqin's physical condition is very bad and her life was once in danger while being detained in the labor camp.
11. [Yiyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Wang Hongying Arrested and Her Home Ransacked
Ms. Wang Hongying, a practitioner from Yiyang City, Hunan Province, was arrested around July 25, 2010, and her home was ransacked.
12. [Mianyang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Li Shuqin Arrested
At noon on July 28, 2010, officials from Science City Police Bureau, State Security Bureau, local 610 Office, along with Liu Bin, Fei Yueping, and several other officers from the police station, arrested Ms. Li Shuqin, a senior practitioner from Science City of Mianyang, Sichuan Province, and took her to
Mianyang City Brainwashing Center.
13. [Shanghai City] Ms. Jiang Wenling Arrested and Detained
Ms. Jiang Wenling, a practitioner from Pudong Xinqu, Shanghai City, was arrested on July 20, 2010, while she was telling people the truth about Falun Gong. She is now being detained in Zhangjiang Detention Center, Pudong Xinqu, Shanghai City. The officials in the detention center do not allow him any family visitation.

14. [Chongqing City] Ms. Yang Mingqiong Arrested
On the afternoon of July 22, 2010, police officers arrested Ms. Yang Mingqiong, a practitioner in her forties from Tianxingqiao, Shapingba District, Chongqing City. Ms. Yang escaped on the way, but the police ransacked her home and confiscated both her computers.
15. [Siping City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Xuehang Arrested
Local police used the pretext of having no temporary residential permit to arrest Ms. Zhang Xuehang, a practitioner from Daling Town, Siping City, Jilin Province, at approximately at 4:00 p.m. on July 29, 2010.
16. [Xinji City, Hebei Province] Persecution News about Practitioners in Tiangong Township
On the morning of July 28, 2010, Ms. Xiao Chao, Ms. Xiu Juan, Ms. Jiang Xiaoling and Ms. Xiao Tuan, practitioners from Tiangong Township, Xinji City, were arrested and taken to Xinji Detention Center.

17. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Latest Persecution News about Ms. Liu Chongjiao and Three Other Practitioners
Ms. Liu Chongjiao, Ms. Wang Shuchun, Ms. Peng Xiumin, and Mr. Tian Shujun were transferred to Qinhuangdao Xizhangzhuang Forced Labor Camp on the evening of July 30, 2010.
On the morning of July 31, Ms. Liu Chongjiao, Ms. Wang Shuchun, and Ms. Peng Xiumin were each sentenced to one-year of forced labor and taken to Tangshan Kaiping Forced Labor Camp. On the same afternoon, because Ms. Liu Chongjiao and Ms. Wang Shuchun showed symptoms of life-threatening conditions, the officials in the labor camp refused to admit them. Later these two practitioners were released and their relatives took them back home. Ms. Peng Xiumin was detained in the labor camp.
Mr. Wang Shujun was sentenced to one year of forced labor and is now being detained in Qinhuangdao Xizhangzhuang Forced Labor Camp. He has been on a hunger strike since he was taken to the labor camp.
18. [Qingzhen City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Qian Shuaiyu Arrested
On July 22, 2010, Ms. Qian Shuaiyu, Ms. Wang Weihong, and Ms. Chen Xuerong, practitioners from Qingzhen City, were arrested while they were publicly talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. They were arrested in Pingyuanshao Village, Qingzhen City, Guizhou Province.

19. [Jiaohe City, Jilin Province] Mr. Tian Fushen Arrested
Xin Guangda, Wang Ruiguo and Liu Yaoqiang, officers from the Songjiang Town Police Station in Jiaohe City, Jilin Province, conspired with local 610 Office officials (in total about ten officials) to break into Mr. Tian Fusen's home at approximately 3:40 a.m. on July 28, 2010, and arrest him. Mr. Tian Fusen is now detained in Jiaohe City No. 10 Middle School Brainwashing Center.
20. [Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province] Latest Persecution News about Ms. Wang Xin
On the morning of July 30, 2010, police officers from Yingze Police Bureau arrested Ms. Wang Xin while she was distributing Falun Gong materials while on her way to deliver lunch to her mother in the hospital.

21. [Jilin Province] Additional Persecution News about Mr. Wang Xue
On June 30, officials from Jilin City 610 Office instigated officers from the Changchunlu Police Station, Chuanying District, Jilin City to arrest Mr. Wang Xue, a practitioner from Jilin City while he was on his way to work. They detained him on the third floor of Shahezi Xiaoguang Nursing Home.
Later, Xu Zhengxian, director of Chuanying District, Jilin City, and secretary of the Political and Judiciary Committee, took Mr. Wang Xue to Xinglongshan Brainwashing Center in Changchun City, where Mr. Wang was forced to watch video programs that defamed Falun Dafa, write study notes, and the five statements. He was monitored around the clock and not allowed to speak with other practitioners. Falun Gong practitioners there were not allowed to speak with each other in the brainwashing center.
Ten days later, Mr. Wang Xue was released.
22. [Liaoning Province] Over 100 Practitioners Detained in Benxi Forced Labor Camp
Over 100 male Falun Gong practitioners from Liaoning Province, Beijing and other cities are currently being detained in Benxi Forced Labor Camp. Over 30 female practitioners were also taken there. They are brainwashed on a daily basis.
