(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 16 cities or counties in 11 provinces. In this report, 7 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 20 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Beijing] Ms. Chen Xinzhu Sent to the Tiantanghe Women's Forced Labor Camp in Daxing District of Beijing
Ms. Chen Xinzhu, from the Haidian District of Beijing, was sent by the Haidian District Branch of Beijing Public Security Bureau to serve in a forced labor camp for two years. She has been sent to the Tiantanghe Women's Forced Labor Camp in the Daxing District of Beijing.

2. [Nantong City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Xu Panzhen Taken to a Brainwashing Center by Staff from the Local 610 Office on the Afternoon of July 15
3. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Mr. Sun Peng Arrested
At about 1:00 pm on July 21, 2010, Mr. Sun Peng, an employee at the Dongying Well Drilling Company, explained the facts about Falun Gong to someone. This person called the police right away. Police officers arrested Mr. Sun and took him into the Jishu Brainwashing Center and then ransacked Sun Peng's home.
4. [Huangmei County, Hubei Province] Ms. Yuan Lini Arrested in Guangzhou Province
Ms. Yuan Lini became a teacher in Guangzhou Province after graduating from a university. On May 12, 2010, after finishing her work, Ms. Yuan went back to her rented house. She was arrested by officers from the Huangcun Police Station who were waiting for her near her home. Ms. Yuan is being held in the Tangxia Detention Center in Tianhe District.

5. [Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Ai Kexiu Persecuted
At about 7:00 pm on July 20, 2010, Ms. Ai Kexiu was arrested at home by staff from city 610 Office and the Menyang Town 610 Office. She was taken to the Huangshensi Brainwashing Center in Fengle Town, Pengzhou City.
6. [Anqing City, Anhui Province] Mr. Hu Zhaohui Arrested
Mr. Hu Zhaohui from Anqing City, is in his forties and was running a business in the Guangcaida market in Anqing City. He was arrested on July 13, 2010 and his whereabouts remain unknown.
7. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Sun Niang Arrested
On the morning of July 20, 2010, in Shuinianhe living quarters of the Chinese Institute of Measurement Technology, Ms. Sun Niang in Chengdu City, was arrested by three officers from Chenghua District. Sun Niang was taken to the Chenghua District Brainwashing Center.
8. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yu Xiaoyan, a Physician in Dalian City, Was Taken to the Fushun Brainwashing Center
9. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Ren Yufeng Arrested
At about 9:00 am on July 21, 2010, Ms. Ren Yufeng from Lushun of Dalian City, was followed by an officer from the Market Police Station and was arrested at her workplace.

At about 7:00 am on July 21, 2010, officers from the Huanan Police Station in Ganjinzi District in Dalian City, charged into Ms. Zou Xiuju's home and took her to the police station. In the afternoon, Ms. Zou was taken to the Luotaishanzhuang Brainwashing Center in Fushun City.
11. [Sichuan Province] The Persecution of Mr. Li Jiaming
Mr. Li Jiaming is in his sixties. On July 20, 2003, officers Guo Qiang and Wang Yingzhong, from the Xiaojie Police Station, went to Li Jiaming's home and took him to the Xiaojie Police Station. They demanded that Mr. Li tell them where Gu Xingfeng was. Mr. Li answered that he did not know. Officers then hung him up on an iron railing for about seven hours and then ransacked Mr. Li's home and took away Falun Gong books, banners, weekly magazines, weekly newspapers and other items.
In October 2007, Li Jiaming' s home was ransacked many times and his recording devise, Falun Gong books and other materials were taken. His wife, Ms. Cai Huilian, had to move from one place to another to avoid persecution. Li Jiaming was taken to the Miyi Detention Center and was jailed there for fifteen days.
12. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Gao Fuping Persecuted in Tailai Prison
It has been eight years since Ms. Gao Fuping from the Donghu residential quarters in Qiqihar City, was thrown into the Tailai prison in 2002. Because Ms. Gao perseveres in her faith, she is now suffering from inhuman "transformation" in the Tailai Prison. She is deprived of sleep for extended periods of time and is forced to do slave labor.

13. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Additional Facts about Li Suyun's Arrest
On the afternoon of July 15, 2010, Lu Hongjian, Secretary of the Changshoulu Community Residents' Committee, and Li, the director of the Changshoulu Community Residents' Committee, asked Ms. Li Suyun, from Chengdu City, to attend a meeting, which was a lie. Ms. Li went and was arrested. She is now being held in the Chengdu City Jinhua Brainwashing Center and her family is not allowed to visit her.

14. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Mr. Liu Yong's Whereabouts Remain Unknown Since His Arrest on June 9, 2010
15. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Xu Runxiang Detained and Her House Ransacked
Ms. Xu Runxiang from Nanchang City, is fifty-four years old. At about 2:30 pm, July 2, 2010, eight or nine staff members from the Donghu Branch of the Nanchang City Public Security Bureau, the Domestic Security Division, and the West District Community of the Bayiqiao Police Station, charged into Chen Runxiang's home and ransacked it. They took away a copier, CDs and Falun Gong books. Currently Ms. Chen is being held in the No. 1 Detention Center.
16. [Anlu City, Hubei Province] Ms. Jiang Hua Arrested
On July 17, 2010, directed by the 610 Office, officers from the Muzi Township Police Station in Tangli Town, Anlu City, took Ms. Jiang Hua to a brainwashing center.

17. [Ningyuan County, Hunan Province] Mr. Liu Zhifang Arrested
Mr. Liu Zhifang from Ningyuan County in Yongzhou City, Hunan Province, went to Suqian City in Jiangsu Province for work. He was arrested by the local police on June 20, 2010. His current status is unknown.
18. [Faku County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Li Chaoyong Arrested
Mr. Li Chaoyong is a villager in Dashan Village, Baojiatun Township, Faku County. On July 22, 2010, he was arrested by officers from the Baojiatun Police Station and the Faku County Domestic Security Division. Li Chaoyong is now held in Faku County and nobody is looking after his almost eighty-year-old father.
19. [Shandong Province] The Weifang City 610 Office and the Xiashan City 610 Office Arrested Mr. Liu Jinrong
At about 11:00 am on July 20, 2010, the Weifang City 610 Office and the Xiashan City 610 Office arrested Mr. Liu Jinrong in Zhanglingjie Village, Zhanglingjiedao, Xiashan City.
20. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Additional Facts about Mr. Yang Guang's Arrest
Mr. Yang Guang from Guanshan, Wuhan City, who was arrested at home on July 19, 2010, is now held in No. 1 Detention Center in Erzhigou, Wujiashan.
21. [Tanshan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Sun Bingqiang Arrested
Mr. Sun Bingqiang works for the Balizhuang Coke-oven and Gas Plant at the Tangshan Iron and Steel Company in Tangshan City. At about 10:00 am on July 22, 2010, Mr. Sun was arrested at his workplace by officers including Wang Shujing, the Deputy Head of the Domestic Security Division at the Public Security Bureau of the Fengrun District Branch. They took Mr. Sun to the Taipinglu Police Station, ransacked his home and took away his computer and other items.

22. [Qinhuangdao, Shandong Province] Four Practitioners Arrested by Officers from the North Industrial Park District Police Station
On July 21, Ms. Liu Chongjiao, Ms. Wang Shuchun, Ms. Xiao Peng and Mr. Tian Shujun were arrested when they were explaining the facts about Falun Gong to people. They are currently held in the North Industrial Park District Police Station in Qinhuangdao City.
23. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Yao Hui Arrested
On July 20, without presenting any papers, officers from the Wuhan City Domestic Security Division charged into Ms. Yao Hui's home and took away her computer, notebooks and other items. Afterwards they arrested Yao Hui and now her whereabouts are unknown.
Ms. Yao was sentenced to seven years of imprisonment before because she persevered in practicing Falun Gong.
