(Clearwisdom.net) The annual Rhode Island Chinese Dragon Boat Races and Taiwan Day Festival were held by the Blackstone River in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, on August 28, 2010. Falun Gong practitioners had a table at the Festival. They demonstrated the exercises, clarified the facts about the persecution in China, and taught the visitors how to fold paper lotus flowers. Many people were drawn to their activities.

Frank Caprio, the General Treasurer and candidate for Governor of Rhode Island, visited the Falun Dafa booth with his assistant. Caprio shook hands with the practitioners and learned the facts about the persecution of Falun Gong in China.
A woman by the name of Shelly learned about Falun Dafa at last year's activity. This year she wanted to find a practice site so she could begin the practice. She left with a contact phone number happily.
Molly and Dell listened to a practitioner explain about Falun Dafa. Worrying that Dell did not understand the persecution, Molly showed Dell the posters and further explained it to him. She said that she would visit the Falun Dafa website for more information.
A couple of young Chinese men who just came from China did not believe that the persecution has been going on for 11 years and that the existence of organ removal from living practitioners. A practitioner explained the details and gave an example. A patient in Canada wanted to get organ transplant in China. When his doctor asked the hospitals in China when he could get a donor, the answer was "any time." This indicates that there is a huge organ bank in China. The two young men were shocked and condemned the brutality of the Chinese Communist regime.
