(Clearwisdom.net) On the morning of May 13, 2010, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Wang Miaozhen, 60, from Shantou, Guangdong, was arrested with her son at her home at Yingmeiyuan Residential Quarters, in Chengxi, Chenghua Community by police from the Chenghua Police Station. She is currently being held at the Baisha Police Station in Chenghai.
Before beginning Falun Gong cultivation practice, Ms. Wang had a strange disease which the hospital couldn't name. She continually felt uncomfortable and became increasingly thin. After she heard that Falun Gong had brought many people back to health, she began practicing and tried to be a good person by following the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. After a few months, she improved and also gained a younger appearance.
Ms. Wang told her family and friends about the wonderful changes in her, hoping that more people would experience the wonderfulness of Falun Gong. Even though she didn't commit any crimes, officers from the Chenghai Police Station and the 610 Office took her to a detention center.
In her three months in Baisha Detention Center, in Chenghai District, she was forced to perform hard labor in hot weather, even with her disease recurring as the result of persecution.
Wang Miaozhen will soon be taken into Sanshui Forced Labor Camp and face further persecution.
