(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Cui Yuping and her younger sister, Ms. Cui Yutao, are both employees from the Bureau of Industry and Commercial of the Coal Mine District of Datong City, Shanxi Province. On the afternoon of December 23, 2010 seven police officers led by Tian Jianzhong, head of the Xinsheng Street Police Station of the Coal Mine District police department, broke into Ms. Cui Yuping's home and arrested her, her son Mr. Ren Yong, Ms. Cui Yutao, and her 5-year-old son. At the time of the arrest Ms. Cui Yuping was cooking. Other police involved in the arrest were Fan Wenliang, Zhang Baoyi, Ren Xin and Zhang Huimin from the Datong City Police Department. Ms. Cui Yuping and her son were detained in the Datong City Police Department, but the whereabouts of Ms. Cui Yutao and her son are unknown.

Ms. Cui Yutao is 42 years old and is recognized as a warmhearted person and a diligent employee. As a Falun Gong practitioner, she conducted herself according to the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance in her everyday life. In China, it is very common for government employees to accept bribes in their work. She had been in a decision-making position that many people desired because of the opportunity to accept bribes, but after she practiced Falun Gong, she resigned from that position. She worked hard, had no complaints and refrained from accepting any bribes.

Also arrested was Ms. Zhao, a practitioner who was visiting Ms. Cui Yuping when the arrest happened. Some neighbors asked the police why they had to arrest these innocent people, and were told that they were doing so only because they were ordered by their superiors. Ms. Cui Yuping and her son were released at 1:00 a.m. the next day after they had been held in the Datong City Police Department for 11 hours.

On December 24, not knowing the whereabouts of her sister, Ms. Cui Yuping and her son went to the Coal Mine District Police Department to ask for information about Ms. Cui Yutao and her son, but the police there responded by arresting them again. They still have not been released. Another Falun Gong practitioner, Ms. Huang Lijuan, who accompanied Ms. Cui to the police department to inquire, was also arrested when she was at her mother's home. In the meantime police also searched Ms. Zhao's home.

The Cui's Have Been Arrested Several Times for Practicing Falun Gong

This was not the first arrest of the Cui's. Ten years ago, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) authorities arrested Ms. Cui Yuping and detained her in the Datong City Detention Center. Without following any legal procedures, her employer suspended their contract with her. In the summer of that year, her son, Ren Yong, was also fired from his post with the Traffic Police Team of Datong City. The family had to live on the income of Ms. Cui's husband and led a hard life.

In late July 2009, Ms. Cui Yutao was arrested by police from the Xinsheng Street Police Station when she was discussing the facts about Falun Gong with people. In the detention center she was forced to make decorative lamps without any payment. She was allowed to sleep for no more than 2 hours each day. When she was sleepy, she would be slapped in the face. The food was also very poor.

Ms. Cui Yutao was detained in the 7th detention section. She went on a hunger strike to protest her mistreatment. In retaliation, the prison guards ordered inmates from the 7th section to force-feed her. They pried her mouth open and stuffed pieces of bread and water into her mouth. When she refused to cooperate, the inmates slapped her in the face. In addition to force-feeding, the prison guards refused to let her use toilet paper and prevented her from speaking.

On the afternoon of July 31, 2009, prison guards ordered ten inmates to shove Ms. Cui Yutao down to the ground and force-feed her. Some of them held her arms and legs, while others force-fed her with a plastic spoon. When she refused to cooperate, she was cruelly beaten. When the food in her mouth sprayed out onto the faces of the perpetrators, they grabbed her by the hair and smashed her head against the wall. Among them, Wang Jiacui and Tian Zhimin were extremely brutal. Wang verbally abused her while Tian beat her. They tried to forced-feed her for three days, but failed. In the five days of attempted force feeding, her mouth and tongue were badly injured and her body was bruised in many places. Prison guard Liu Shuying monitored the whole process of force-feeding, but pretended to be oblivious to the situation. After that, they rewarded those inmates for their role in the persecution.

Cheng Hong, deputy chief of the detention Center, verbally abused Yutao and defamed Falun Dafa many times. When she saw Cui Yutao for the first time, she punched her in the head multiple times. On August 6, Cui Yutao was sentenced to forced labor and was sent to the Xindian Labor Camp at Taiyuan City. Her hands were cuffed behind her when she was taken to the labor camp. The labor camp refused to accept her because of her poor physical condition. She was released on August 7.

Mr. Ren previously suffered from a brain tumor, for which he desperately sought treatment, but to no avail. After he started practicing Falun Gong under the guidance of his mother, he completely recovered. In the past ten years, he and his mother have been arrested more than 20 times and subjected to countless tortures. When he was held in the Datong City Detention Center, he was cruelly force-fed and shackled. The shackles weighed more than 22 pounds, with a big heavy iron ball attached in the center. They shackled both his hands and feet and sometimes cuffed his hands behind him. Prison guards involved in the abuse were Li Cuiye, Zuo Dong, Niu Quanxi and Sun Wenlong.
