(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Lu Yong, a Falun Gong practitioner in her 30s, lives in the Tieshan District, Huangshi City, Hubei Province. She is fully responsible for supporting her mother and niece, and running the family business.
She was arrested by Cheng Yongzhong and Pan Chaowu, from the Tieshan Police Station, and staff from the local 610 Office on the evening of October 31, 2010. She has been detained at the No. 1 Detention Center of Huangshi since then. She is being illegally brought to trial by the Tieshan Procuratorate.
Ms. Lu's family hired a lawyer from Beijing to defend her. The lawyer and family members requested to have a copy of the necessary documents in a meeting with staff from the Tieshan Procuratorate, but were refused by Procurator Hong Zhanwei (female). The refusal was against the law and disregarded the legal rights of both the lawyer and the defender.
Ms. Lu's husband and other family members have been working hard to rescue Ms. Lu from the illegal arrest and lawsuit. They have learned that many members in the legal departments did not agree to the prosecution of Ms. Lu; only Guo Tangyin, an official from the Communist Party Committee of Huangshi, has been persistent in persecuting her.
Ms. Lu has been detained for almost three months. Her mother, daughter, and niece miss her and need her care.
