(Clearwisdom.net) On June 23, 2011, officers of the Domestic Security branch of the Dianchi State Travel and Resort District and officials from the Haigeng Sports Training Base of Kunming City, Yunnan Province, visited the president of a sports training base (she is the wife of an American investor) to set up a mini-golf facility. They demanded that the president fire two of her employees who are Falun Gong practitioners: Mr. Deng Hui and Mr. Feng Baoding. The agents lied by claiming that the two practitioners were extremely dangerous, and said that if the president did not fire them, she would be fined 50,000 yuan and her company would be closed.
The president repeatedly told the officers and officials that whether her employees practiced Falun Gong was a personal belief, and that it was not illegal to practice. Furthermore, she said that the men had been responsible, diligent workers, and that they had treated people kindheartedly the whole time they had worked at the company.
The agents responded with, “It was a order from the top officials,” and then repeated the threat of a fine and closing the company if the practitioners were not fired.
In the end, Mr. Deng Hui and Mr. Feng Baoding voluntarily left the company in order to avoid their employer being fined and the company being closed.
