(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Wang Weidong is a garden engineer at the Sixth Division of Jidong Prison in Hebei Province. His wife, Li Wene, is an internal medicine physician-in-charge of the Jidong Prison Hospital. After they began practicing Falun Dafa, they worked diligently and no longer fought for profit and fame.

However, since the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started the persecution of Falun Gong in 1999, Mr. Wang and his wife have been repeatedly detained and monitored and subjected to severe financial persecution. On the morning of May 25, 2011, the couple were again removed from their posts by officials from the Tangshan Domestic Security Division. The police took away their keys and cell phones. The cabinets in their offices were pried open, and cash and identification documents were confiscated. Without notifying the couple, the police ransacked their home and took valuables, including gold and silver jewelry, bankbooks, a camera, a computer, a printer, etc. Their car, which was parked in front of the building, was also taken. At that time, their son, who was at home alone and cannot take care of himself, was badly terrified. Mr. Wang Weidong was arrested that afternoon. Ms. Li Wene was sent back to her office that night after being handcuffed behind her back for eight hours and interrogated.

Mr. Wang Weidong was first detained in the Tangshan Detention Center. Two weeks later, he was secretly transferred to Kaiping Forced Labor Camp in Tangshan to serve a two-year term. Mr. Wang firmly held to his belief while at the labor camp, and refused to be "transformed." He was transferred to Handan Forced Labor Camp on July 5, 2011. In the labor camp, chief Gao Fei deceived Mr. Wang and further trumped up charges against him. On the night of November 9, 2011, the Tangshan Domestic Security Division transferred Mr. Wang to the Tangshan Second Detention Center and fabricated charges against him.

Mr. Wang now knows that he was deceived by the police and is facing an illegal trial. He has asked his family to hire an attorney for him.
