(Minghui.org) Local Falun Gong practitioners participated in a local health fair on November 22 and 23 at the Northland Expo Centre in Edmonton to let people know about the ancient Chinese cultivation practice of Falun Gong.

Demonstrating the exercises

Among the nearly 100 different entries, Falun Gong was the only non-commercial participant. Falun Gong activities are always free of charge. Many people were interested in learning the exercises and asked for detailed local contact information.

A local senior was excited to see the Falun Gong booth. She said, “This is what I've been looking for. I must learn it. When I first saw you meditating, I knew that this was the cultivation practice I have been looking for.” She was pleased to learn that all the Falun Gong books and videos and audios can be downloaded for free.

Practitioners also told visitors about the persecution of Falun Gong in China that has gone on for 15 years. Many were shocked to hear about the forced organ harvesting and signed the petition, supporting practitioners' peaceful resistance.
