(Minghui.org) While I was incarcerated in a detention center, I met a Christian lady in her 60s. Her husband was a priest, and she said many Christians came to their home every week to worship.
She told me that one early morning a beautiful plastic bag was hanging on her door and inside the bag was a Shen Yun Performing Arts DVD. She and her husband played the DVD, and as the beautiful music played, rays of golden light suddenly streamed from the television and the entire room was illuminated with a golden brilliance. She also saw many Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in the room, some floating in the air and some standing.
The couple were stunned with happiness. She said that the only Buddhas and Bodhisattvas she ever saw were in paintings, but now she saw them with her own eyes.
Whenever friends or relatives visited, she played the DVD for them. Most thought it was very good and thanked her for her kindness. However, a few misunderstood and fussed at her, saying she was against the government.
No matter what anyone said, she knew in her heart that the Shen Yun Performing Arts DVD was a precious treasure. She wraps it in a clean white towel and keeps it respectfully on the top shelf of her wardrobe closet. Whenever her children and grandchildren come for a visit, she plays the DVD for them.
Listening to her story, I deeply felt the honor and sacredness of assisting Master with Fa-rectification and fulfilling our mission to save sentient beings.
