(Minghui.org) An official from the Kaili City 610 Office angrily interrupted the attorney's defense during a recent trial against three Falun Gong practitioners from Guizhou Province.

The trial was held on April 17, 2014, at the Kaili City Court, with the defendants being local practitioners Mr. Wen Jiguo, Mr. Bao Zhengwei and Ms. Wang Renzhi.

Mr. Wen's attorneys, Xie Yanyi and Wang Yajun, gave a defense on behalf of their client despite several interruptions by the prosecutor. When an attorney spoke of a number of high ranking Public Security officials who were in charge of the persecution against Falun Gong, such as Zhou Yongkang and Li Dongsheng, having been removed from their positions, a Kaili 610 official in the audience started shouting angrily and interrupted the attorney's defense. As a result, the judge adjourned the trial and stated that a decision on the verdict would be announced at a later date.

The three practitioners were arrested on August 19, 2013, after being followed for about a month prior to their arrest. Many local practitioners were monitored after the authorities discovered large amounts of truth clarification banners and fliers at a local traditional folk festival site on July 26, 2013.
