(Minghui.org) During the Independence Day long weekend, Chinese tourists visiting Yellowstone National Park to see Old Faithful, a geyser that erupts every 91 minutes, also saw Falun Gong practitioners clarifying the facts of the persecution of Falun Gong, a major injustice that has been covered-up by Chinese propaganda.

Falun Gong practitioners held a three-day truth-clarification event at Yellowstone National Park during the Independence Day long weekend in 2014.

Mr. Liu, a practitioner, met a couple and their daughter near the visitor center in the Old Faithful Historic District. He offered the visiting parents and their daughter, who is studying in America, a copy of Epoch Times, a complimentary Chinese-language newspaper.

Hearing that the newspaper had important news about the political tycoon Zhou Yongkang who is under investigation, they invited Mr. Liu to sit with them and tell them more.

The mother told Mr. Liu that their perception of Falun Gong had changed during their last visit to America, because they had had the opportunity to watch New Tang Dynasty Television (NTDTV) and gotten independent news and information about China.

The night before, the family had stayed in Lake Village in Yellowstone Park and taken a newspaper from a Falun Gong practitioner. This encounter piqued their interest about Falun Gong, and they asked Mr. Liu many questions.

The conversation cleared up their misunderstandings, and the mother and daughter both quit the Chinese communist organizations.

A couple from Beijing met a practitioner at the Old Faithful rest area, and they had a deep conversation. The couple had seen Falun Gong in the Canadian National Day parade. This prompted them to reconsider their unfavorable notions about Falun Gong they had learned from state controlled media in China.

A few days later in Yellowstone Park, they ran into Falun Gong practitioners again. This time, the couple found the answers to their doubts and quit the CCP.

Dave, a Western practitioner, and his wife Ms. Liu volunteered at the Old Faithful site all three days. Dave doesn't speak Chinese, but his smile overcame the language barrier. Both Chinese and Western visitors took fliers from him. The couple also used a speaker to broadcast truth-clarification messages to Chinese tourists.
