(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 20 cities or counties in 11 provinces. According to this report, 29 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 11 practitioners were illegally arrested.

Ms. Xie Yi, in her 40s, is being held at the Jining City Detention Center. She has been on a hunger strike against the persecution – which included being forced to sit on a tiger bench and being force-fed.
Practitioners Ms. Zhao Min and Ms. Min Juan are also detained at the same detention center.

2. [Mancheng County, Hebei Province] Mr. Chen Zhenhua Arrested
Mr. Chen Zhenhua was arrested by officers from the Fushan Town Police Station in Xushui County on December 23, 2014 for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.

3. [Meizhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Fu Xuebing and Ms. Deng Fangying Arrested
Ms. Fu Xuebing and Ms. Deng Fangying were taken to the Longdong Women's Prison in Guangzhou Province on December 19, 2014. The court didn't notify their families regarding upholding their sentence or sending them to prison.
4. [Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province] Five Practitioners Detained
Ms. Zheng Jianmei, Ms. Chen Xiande, and Ms. Liu Zhenfang, all in their 70s, were prosecuted on December 11, 2014. After being arrested in February and March 2014, respectively, Ms. Zheng and Ms. Chen were released on account of health issues.
Ms. Liu, arrested this past May, was held for 15 days. She had been subjected to forced labor twice and as a result her physical health was affected and she now has a great deal of trouble walking. Ms. Zheng's physical condition was also critical due to being subjected to persecution many times.
Ms. Wang Shuangchun and Ms. Tang Huafeng, have been held for over ten months at the Jinzhong Detention Center.
5. [Weichang County, Hebei Province] Ms. Wu Yaru Arrested
Ms. Wu Yaru was arrested and taken to the Chengde City Detention Center on the afternoon of December 22, 2014.
6. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Pang Yufen Put on Trial
Ms. Pang Yufen was put on trial at the Pudong Detention Center in Jimo City in early December 2014. The judge did not inform the families of Ms. Pang; her son-in-law was notified after the trial.
Ms. Pang, being subjected to persecution several times, was arrested in Jiaonan District by plainclothes officers from the Zhuhailu Police Station on the afternoon of April 14, 2013. She was arrested for posting adhesive signs with messages such as "Falun Dafa is good" along the streets. The police ransacked her home and later took her to the Jiaonan Detention Center.
Ms. Pang was arrested by officers from the Wangtai Town Police Station on the morning of August 28, 2014, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. The police ransacked her home that afternoon and confiscated Falun Gong books. She was taken to the Pudong Detention Center the next day. Her daughter visited but was unable to see her.
7. [Jiaohe City, Jilin Province] Ms. Luo Yunjuan and Ms. Yu Shuqing Detained
Ms. Luo Yunjuan and Ms. Yu Shuqing were arrested by officers from the Minzhujie Police Station in Jiaohe City on the afternoon of December 22, 2014, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. They were taken to the Jiaohe City Detention Center that day.

8. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zha Shuyan Detained
Ms. Zha Shuyan was arrested in her home by six officers, on the morning of December 23, 2014. She is being held at the Funing County Detention Center.
9. [Gongzhuling City, Jilin Province] Ms. Yu Jinfeng and Ms. Liu Yuqin Harassed
Ms. Yu Jinfeng was harassed at home by five officers from the Huaide Town Police Station on the afternoon of December 20, 2014. The police confiscated a picture of the founder of Falun Gong, Falun Gong books, two cell phones, two MP3 players, and DVDs. Members of her family were also taken to the police station and released that evening.
Ms. Liu Yuqin was harassed at home by officers from the Fanjiatun Town Police Department on the morning of December 23, 2014.
10. [Shuangyashan City, Heilongjiang Province] Three Practitioners Detained
In the afternoon of December 12, 2014, Ms. Qin Hongxia, Ms. Yu Jingxia, and Ms. Liu Feng'e were distributing calendars with information on the persecution of Falun Gong. They were arrested and taken to the Yonghong Police Station by township officers.
They were then taken to the Shuangyashan City Detention Center the following morning. Ms. Yu was released, the other two practitioners are still being held.
11. [Fengning County, Hebei Province] Ms. Wu Yaru Arrested
Ms. Wu Yaru was arrested on her way to work on December 22, 2014.
12. [Longjiang County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Fu Yunping Detained
Ms. Fu Yunping was arrested by officers from the Domestic Security Division of the Longjiang County Police Department on March 11, 2014, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.
She was sentenced to a three-year prison term by the Longjiang County Court on September 17, 2014. She is being held at the Heilongjiang Province Women's prison.
13. [Linquan County, Anhui Province] Ms. Zhang Guizhi and Ms. Meng Lingzhi Detained
Ms. Zhang Guizhi and Ms. Meng Lingzhi were arrested by officers from the Zhuanji Township Police Station several days ago for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. The police confiscated from their homes Falun Gong books, and informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. They were taken to the Fuyang City Detention Center.

14. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Ms. Zhang Qingrong Arrested
Ms. Zhang Qingrong, 64, was arrested by officers from the Guihuaping Police Station in Changsha City on the morning of December 24, 2014, for distributing informational DVDs about the persecution of Falun Gong. Ms. Zhang's son was also arrested.

15. [Baishan City, Jilin Province] Four Practitioners Left Home to Avoid Persecution
Ms. Sun Yufa, Mr. Qiao Renxi, Ms. Li Chunyan, and Ms. Wang Guizhen were arrested by officers, including director Wang Yude, from the Zhazi Town Police Station on December 9, 2014. The police ransacked their homes and confiscated Falun Gong books, MP3s, pictures of the founder of Falun Gong, DVD players, cell phones, seals, and satellite television receivers. Ms. Wang escaped and the other three were released on medical probation due to critical physical conditions developed in custody. Since local officers still planned to detain them, they had to leave home to avoid further persecution.
16. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Xiuping and Another Practitioner Arrested
Ms. Li Xiuping and another practitioner were arrested by officers from the Mutouchengzi Police Station on December 23, 2014, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. Ms. Li is being held at the Beishan Detention Center in Chaoyang City. The other practitioner has been released.

17. [Jingtai County, Gansu Province] Five Practitioners Arrested
Five practitioners: Mr. Ma Zufu, Ms. Hao Guofang, Ms. Ma Liyuan, Ms. Wan Mingfen, and Mr. Ma He, were arrested on July 4, 2014. Mr. Ma Zufu and Mr. Ma He were released on bail pending trial due to high blood pressure; they had to leave home to avoid further persecution. The three female practitioners: Ms. Hao, Ms. Wan, and Ms. Ma were taken to the Baiyin Detention Center. Ms. Ma was later released on bail pending trial due to high blood pressure. All three female practitioners were sentenced to a three-year prison term on December 17, 2014. They are being held at the Lanzhou Women's Prison.

18. [Dengta County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Ma Fengju and Fellow Practitioner Arrested
Ms. Ma Fengju and a fellow practitioner were arrested by officers from the Huazi Police Station on December 18, 2014, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. They were taken to the Liaoyang Detention Center that evening. They have been on a hunger strike for five days to protest the persecution.

Mr. Liu Yongjun was taken to the Hongze County Detention Center for criminal detention by officers from the Domestic Security Division of the Hongze County Police Department on December 20, 2014.

20. [Jing County, Hebei Province] Ms. Cui Yongfen Facing Trial
Ms. Cui Yongfen, while in detention for four months, was tortured to the point of vomiting blood and losing consciousness. She was scheduled to be put on trial for her belief in Falun Gong on December 23, 2014.
