(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 15 cities or counties in 11 provinces. According to this report, 30 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 9 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Dezhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Junlan and Ms. Liu Guilan Detained
Ms. Li Junlan and Ms. Liu Guilan from Dezhou City were arrested by officers from the Domestic Security Division of the Economic and Technological Development District of Dezhou City on the afternoon of January 12, 2015. The officers ransacked their homes. Both practitioners are still being held in the Dezhou Detention Center.
Ms. Liu's son was called to the Domestic Security Division on the morning of January 26. The officers demanded that he file paperwork for his mother to be released on parole, otherwise his mother's case would be turned to the Procuratorate for prosecution.
Practitioners currently being held in the Dezhou Detention Center include Mr. Li Zhiqiang, Ms. Li Junlan, Ms. Liu Guilan, Ms. Zhang Xuexia from Pingyuan County, and Mr. Wang Jianping from Hebei Province.
Elderly Ms. Gao Guoxiang is being held in the Dezhou City Lockup Center.

2. [Qingzhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Ma Yuqin Faces Sentencing
Ms. Ma Yuqin, from the Beicheng Area, Qingzhou City, which is affiliated with Weifang City, was arrested by officers from the Qingzhou Domestic Security Division and the Qingzhou Road Police Station in late 2014. The officers searched her home and took a blood sample from her for testing. She was released the same day. Her family got back 3,000 yuan extorted by the officers from the Domestic Security Division. The Qingzhou City Court is planning a trial for Ms. Ma.

Mr. Xiang Changqing and Ms. Sha Zhodi have been held in the Beihu Brainwashing Center, Qingzhan District for nearly a month.

Ms. Li Yaqin and Ms. Li Yanxia were arrested by officers from the local police station while telling people about Falun Gong on January 31, 2015, in Yi'ershi Town, Arxan City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

5. [Yanshou County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Li Shuhua and Two Other Practitioners Detained
Ms. Li Shuhua, Mr. Zhao Zhenqing, and Ms. Wu Yuxiang, from Yanshou County, were arrested on the evening of January 30, 2015, by several people led by Zhang Huanyu, Chinese Communist Party (CCP) secretary of Laodaogou Village. The three practitioners were clarifying facts about Falun Gong. They were taken to the Shoushan Township Police Station.
Zhao Xiaodong, head of the Domestic Security Division in Yanshou County, led others to the Shoushan Township Police Station to interrogate the three practitioners. Zhao and the others then took the three practitioners to the Domestic Security Division in Yanshou County.
The next morning, they took the three practitioners to the county hospital for physical examinations. Afterwards, they took the three practitioners directly to the Harbin City Detention Center for ten days of detention.

The following are updates of nine practitioners arrested on June 22, 2014.
Ms. Wang Zhendi, 70, was sentenced to four months in prison with a four-month probation.Ms. Chen Xiuping, 53, was sentenced to three years in prison with three-year probation.Ms. Zhu Fengying, 70, and Ms. Zhang Ruihua, 41, were both sentenced to three years in prison. They have been taken to the Nanjing Women's Prison.Mr. Zhang Xinping, 53, was sentenced to three years in prison. It is unknown where he is detained.Ms. He Luping, 70, and Ms. Zhang Ye, 57, were both sentenced to seven years in prison. They have been taken to the Nanjing Women's Prison.Ms. Yu Yunxian, 70, remains in custody at the Zhenjiang Detention Center.Ms. Ye Ruibao, 65, was released 37 days after her arrest.
7. [Putian City, Fujian Province] Mr. Liu Jiankai Detained
Mr. Liu Jiankai from the Xiuyu District, Putian City went to see an elderly fellow practitioner surnamed Zhan, on the afternoon of January 19, 2015. He was arrested by officers from the Xiuyu District Police Department and Hushi Town Police Station. The officers first took Mr. Liu back to his home to conduct a search. They confiscated Falun Dafa books, electronic audio-visual materials, and other personal belongings. Mr. Liu was then taken to the Putian City Detention Center that evening.

8. [Ya'an City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Lu Guangxin Arrested
Mr. Lu Guangxin from the Mingshan District, Ya'an City was arrested at home on January 27, 2015. He is being held in the Duoying Town Detention Center Ya'an City.
9. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhou Yumei Detained
Ms. Zhou Yumei, in her sixties, from the Linzi District, Zibo City, was arrested by the Linzi District Domestic Security Division, for talking with people about Falun Gong. She has been taken to the Fujia Detention Center in Zibo City.
10. [Beijing] Ms. Xie Yunjie Missing
Ms. Xie Yunjie, who returned from overseas study in the United Kingdom, went missing from the Agricultural University West Area, Haidian District on January 31, 2015. Ms. Wei Hui went missing at the same time.
11. [Zunhua City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Shuhuan Arrested, Ms. Han Guangxiang's Home Ransacked
Ms. Wang Shuhuan, from Daguantun Village, Niangniangzhuang Township, Zunhua City, was reported to the Niangniangzhuang Township Police Station while talking with people about Falun Gong on January 29, 2015. Officers from the Niangniangzhuang Township Police Station and Zunhua City Domestic Security Division arrested Ms. Wang the next day, and ransacked her home. She is being held in the Zunhua Detention Center where a brainwashing center was conducted.
Ms. Han Guangxiang's home was also searched.

12. [Beijing] Mr. Pan Qin's Home Searched
Mr. Pan Qin was deceived by officers from the Badachu Park Police Station into going to the police station on the morning of January 20, 2015. The officers made a body search and rifled through his backpack. The officers then coerced and deceived Mr. Pan's son for keys to their home. They ransacked the place and took Falun Dafa books, a tablet computer, equipment for Falun Gong exercises, and other items. Mr. Pan was released that afternoon.
13. [Weinan City, Shaanxi Province] Displaced Ms. Wang Fengqin Arrested
Ms. Wang Fengqin, from Weinan City, had been forced to stay out of town. She was arrested when she returned home on January 27, 2015, and is being held in the Pucheng County Detention Center.
14. [Xinjiang County, Shanxi Province] Ms. Wang Hong Detained
Ms. Wang Hong from Beizhang Town was illegally detained for 15 days.
15. [Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Shen Wenying Arrested
Ms. Shen Wenying, 54, from Dongting Town, the Xishan District, Wuxi City, was arrested for telling people about Falun Gong on January 30, 2015. She is being held in the Wuxi City No. 2 Detention Center.

16. [Urumqi City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region] Ms. Sun Li and Other Practitioners Face Trial Again
Ms. Bai Yun, Ms. Bai Yi, and Ms. Zhao Liai, from Urumqi, were arrested by officers from the Shuimogou District Domestic Security Division on April 28, 2014. Ms. Sun Li was arrested by South Dawan Road Police Station, Urumqi on June 7, 2014.
The Shuimogou District Court is scheduling another trial for the four practitioners on January 6, 2015.
