Recently, Las Vegas Falun Dafa practitioners went to parks and university campuses to clarify the true facts about Falun Dafa and collect signatures. Among the practitioners was an over 70 year old woman who just took up the practice. Some practitioners cannot speak English very well, but still played their role of Dafa particles. They kept sending forth righteous thoughts to eliminate evil elements in other dimensions that block people from learning the truth.
In extremely hot weather, Dafa practitioners tirelessly and repeatedly clarified the true facts about Falun Dafa to passersby. Their sincerity moved people, and in turn, people's support encouraged the practitioners to do even better.
On September 9, practitioners went to Nevada University. While we were setting up display boards, many people came over and gathered around us. A young lady asked many questions about Qigong, such as, "Is there any difference between Falun Gong and other Qigong?" When she was told that Falun Gong is an ancient advanced cultivation method for both the mind and body, she said, "It's such a good cultivation method, I must tell my father. He is a Qigong master in Indonesia. " After that, she signed her name, took some materials and left.
A kind-hearted girl student looked at our display boards for a long time. While watching, she wiped her tears and said, "I'm very sad after seeing these photos. A country treats its people so cruelly, it's really unacceptable." Some other people said, "I hope you will persist until the ultimate triumph."
Many people took our materials and signed their names, and they came again the second day with their friends to look at the display boards and sign their names.
One student had a look at the postcard and said, "I've never given any opinion on the conflict between foreign government and its people." He wanted to give the postcard back to the practitioner. The practitioner told him that it is not only an issue of Chinese people. Persecution of justice is the persecution of all people. The persecution of Falun Gong practitioners not only exists in Chinese territory, it has also been extended to all over the world. The practitioner said that although he was a legitimate American citizen, in June, when he went from Germany to Iceland by air, he was intercepted because his name was on a blacklist of the Chinese Embassy. Upon hearing this, the student immediately signed the postcard.
A middle-aged woman and an older woman were having their afternoon tea. As soon as practitioners mentioned Falun Gong, the middle-aged woman signed her name on the postcard without any hesitation. She said, "I'm very clear about the Jiang regime's persecution of Falun Gong; I sympathize with you." The older woman took the postcard and wanted to ask some questions, but the middle-aged woman said, "Just sign it, it's a good thing." The older woman took hold of the pen the practitioner passed to her with her handicapped hand and carefully signed her name.
Practitioners found that more and more people have learned the truth about Falun Gong. They not only show their sympathy for us, but also take the initiative to help us. Many people immediately signed their name when they only heard "Falun Gong." Some people requested more information and materials from us so that they could display them at their stores to let more people know about the Jiang regime's brutal persecution of Falun Gong. A university student looked at our display boards for a long time and learned many true facts about Falun Gong. The following day, she came back to ask for postcards, and said that she planned to collect signatures from her friends at a Church gathering. A professor of philosophy not only signed his own name but also took materials and postcards for each of his students. The professor once invited Falun Gong practitioners to give a speech in his class, and this time he invited practitioners again to give a speech in his class.
In the mornings, at weekends and at dusk, many residents would gather at the park to train their dogs, do exercises, enjoy barbecue and watch sporting events. Practitioners take these opportunities to clarify the true facts about Falun Dafa and collect signatures from them.
A practitioner explained the facts to a group of people who spoke Spanish. Some children could not understand English, and their parents would tell them in Spanish. After listening, they asked their parents, "Can us children sign?"
On September 10, while the practitioners were doing the exercises, a group of middle school students passed them on their way to the sports field. A practitioner said, "We should let them know the truth." So a practitioner ran to them and told the two leaders about the Jiang regime's persecution of Falun Gong. Upon hearing this, a teacher immediately asked the students to stop and sit on the ground. One teacher said, "Two days ago, the community channel broadcasted the speeches given by two Falun Gong practitioners at a conference held in the city hall. It's hard to imagine there is still such thing that seriously violates human rights in the world." They asked the practitioners to introduce the students to Falun Gong and its persecution in China. After the practitioners' introduction, the teacher asked the students, "Do you know what a dictator is? He is the person who inhumanely persecutes the people. You should cherish the democracy and freedom you are enjoying." After that, the teacher said, "Please raise your hand if you want to sign your name." All the students raised their hands.
