By practitioners in Halifax, Canada

(Clearwisdom.net) On May 15, 2004, in order to celebrate the third World Falun Dafa Day in the city (Please see "Proclamation of Falun Dafa Day, Halifax Regional Municipality, Nova Scotia, Canada [May 13, 2004]" at http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2004/5/9/47884.html), dozens of Falun Gong practitioners from Halifax and the surrounding area came to the city's library to celebrate this special day.

The sunshine was brilliant. Practitioners performed the exercises, and unfurled banners reading "Falun Dafa is good" and "World Falun Dafa Day." The peaceful scene attracted many passersby to stop and watch, request for truth clarification materials, or talk with practitioners to learn about Falun Dafa. The practitioners prepared balloons imprinted with the words, "The world needs Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" and folded paper lotus flowers for the public, which were quite welcome. That day, the practitioners distributed many flyers and explained the facts about Falun Gong to many people.
