(Clearwisdom.net) (By a Clearwisdom.net reporter in Heilongjiang Province, China) At around 10:00 a.m. on January 23, 2008, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Zhao Jinxiang was arrested by three police officers for talking to people and distributing materials about Falun Gong near the Changlinzi Forced Labor Camp in Harbin City. Ms. Zhao was detained in the Second Detention Center in Yaziquan in Harbin City that evening.

In the detention center, criminal inmates tried to force Ms. Zhao to wear an inmate vest, but she refused. Two or three criminals attacked her.

On February 28, 2008, Ms. Zhao was transferred to the Qianjin Forced Labor Camp. That same day, Zhang Bo, leader of the First Team, ordered Ms. Zhao to write the "three statements" to renounce Falun Gong. She refused to press her fingerprint on the three statements, which the police had prepared beforehand. Zhang Bo closed the door first to conceal what he was about to do. Zhang and seven or eight policewomen, including Yu Fangli, Zhou Muqi, and Liu Chang, tortured Ms. Zhao together. They used their fists to fiercely punch Ms. Zhao's eyes. Ms. Zhao immediately lost her vision.

The eight policewomen then held Zhao Jinxiang's hand and tried to place her fingerprint on the three statements document. Ms. Zhao resisted with all her might and shouted "Falun Dafa is good." The policewomen failed several times to get Ms. Zhao's fingerprint. They continued attacking her and eventually took Ms. Zhao back to her cell. The policewomen then tied a tablecloth around Ms. Zhao's neck until she could not breathe. They tied Ms. Zhao's hands behind her back, and hung her upside down. Being hung up for so long, Ms. Zhao sweated profusely and suffered great pain. She eventually fainted.

Once Ms. Zhao was unconscious, the policewomen put her fingerprint on the three statements document. Ms. Zhao's hands were purple from being hung up. Ms. Zhao Jinxiang subsequently could not lie down for over seven months and could only sleep for about one hour per day while sitting. She could not breathe well and had pain all over her body. It has been one and a half years since the torture, and Ms. Zhao's left leg still cannot be straightened, her vision is still blurry, and her hands are numb.

As early as early April 2001, Ms. Zhao Jinxiang was arrested by police from the Taiping Police Station, and she was detained in the First Detention Center in Harbin City. Ms. Zhao went on a hunger strike there, but was brutally force-fed. The police shoved a thick, hard rubber tube down into Ms. Zhao's stomach through her esophagus, like feeding an animal. She suffered excruciating pain.

One time after a forced feeding, Ms. Zhao Jinxiang experienced severe pain in her stomach and passed very bloody stool. Her life was in danger during the hunger strike. Fearing that Ms. Zhao would die in the detention center, authorities of the First Detention Center asked the Daowai Police Branch to release Ms. Zhao several times. But the Daowai National Security Team refused. When Ms. Zhao's family visited the First Detention center and saw her dying, they were shocked to tears. Her family then went to the Daowai National Security team to request Ms. Zhao's immediate release.

Huang, a member of the National Security Team in Daowai Police Branch, extorted Ms. Zhao's family out of 30,000 yuan before releasing the dying Zhao Jinxiang. The police threatened to send Ms. Zhao to the notorious Wanjia Forced Labor Camp once she recovered. Ms. Zhao's family had to pay policemen in the Wanjia Forced Labor Camp to prevent that.
