(Clearwisdom.net) Eleven years ago, when I was just a middle school student, my mother introduced me and my 4-year-old sister to the practice of Falun Dafa. Having experienced eleven years of trials and hardships and having been gradually tempered, I have become a fully fledged Fa-rectification period Dafa cultivator. There is much to tell about my eleven years on the Falun Dafa cultivation path.
With this article, I will tell Teacher and fellow practitioners about how my mother and I have been active in clarifying the facts of Falun Gong and persuading people to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations.
Since the Epoch Times published the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party in November 2004, Falun Dafa cultivators' major effort has been to clarify the facts about Falun Gong and advise people to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. My mother and I make full use of all the opportunities presented to us. We tell all of our relatives, friends, neighbors, and everyone else we come in contact with when shopping, at gatherings, including weddings or funerals and birthday parties, about Falun Dafa. During the past three years we have helped more than two hundred people withdraw from the CCP and its affiliates. Among them, although most were ordinary citizens, were some CCP secretaries from surrounding villages. Whenever we do the requirements of a Dafa disciple we are not frightened, but at all times we keep in our mind that we are helping Teacher save more people.
Maintaining Strong Righteous Thoughts
I began to work as a saleswoman in a clothes store after graduating from middle school. I earned 300 yuan each month, which I turned over to my family. Out of the blue sky I managed to land a job that I thought out of my reach. That is, even a university graduate could rarely find such a job. I know that is Teacher's arrangement. It was given to me by Teacher.
Apart from a fixed salary every month, I receive additional income [similar to a commission for sales volume]. Once I realized that I would receive this additional income, I vowed that this money would be donated to clarify the facts about Falun Dafa, no matter how much money I earned. I swore in my mind that I would not take a penny for myself.
Because it is profitable, all my colleagues fight to get more depositors. I'm very introverted and not a good speaker. I am rather certain that Teacher granted me wisdom so I could introduce financial products to our customers. I don't need to rush with my explanations, as most customers come to my counter for their business dealings. It is as if they know that I'm totally honest. In order to earn more money so they can buy fashionable clothes or delicious food, my colleagues talk a lot to customers. However, often these customers will not listen to or trust them.
Generally, my customers will buy whatever product I introduce. Some said,"Whatever you say is good, I will listen to you." When I calmly talk with my customers, I think, "I donate the share of revenues to Dafa, so you will have blessings towards a good future." I also understand that all these customers follow Teacher's arrangements. This will save them in many ways. Each month, I earn several hundreds to sometimes thousands of yuan. As soon as I receive the money, I donate all of it to our Dafa materials production sites. This has been going on for over two years.
Well, it was not always easy. At times, I was tempted when I envied other girls' fashionable clothes. Sometimes I even think, "Lately, our Dafa materials sites are not short of money. So they are not that much in need of the funds. I might buy one or two nice dresses. Sometimes, when receiving my donation, a fellow practitioner would say, "Don't you keep some money for yourself?" I won't change my vow, and keep telling myself, "This is my mission and I need to do better."
We are four people in my family. We moved to a town from a rural village about 20 years ago. We always lived on my father's earnings or our relatives helped us financially. My mother always works hard at home and is very thrifty. For example, she rides a bike to a far bazaar to buy the cheapest food, vegetables and fruit for us. Even on Chinese New Year we don't eat dumplings with meat in them. On one occasion, my mother accidentally lost forty yuan when she bought some food. The next few days she was so regretful that her mouth became swollen. However, my mother and I firmly agree that my additional income is for Dafa, no matter what our own problems are. We don't spend it on us, not even a dime. It is our deepest heart's desire to assist Teacher. We know that everything depends on us doing well with the three things that Teacher asked of us.
