1. [Beijing City] Ms. Gong Yuping Unable to Raise Her Arm or Lift Anything Due to Maltreatment
Ms. Gong Yuping, from Pinggu District of Beijing, is unable to raise her right arm or lift anything due to being maltreated while she was in Wuhan City, Hubei Province.
2. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Jiao Cuilian and Ms. Zhan Deli Arrested
At approximately 9:00 a.m on February 13, 2010, Ms. Jiao Cuilian and Ms. Zhan Deli were arrested by police officers from the Wubei Town Police Station when they were hanging up a banner.
3. [Zhoukou City, Hunan Province] Ms. Fan Lizhi Arrested
On February 11, 2010, Ms. Fan Lizhi, from Zhoukou City of Hunan Province, was arrested by police officers from the Zhoukou Domestic Security Division. Currently, she is detained in the Zhoukou Detention Center.
4. [Gaozhou City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Zhang Xiangming Arrested Again
On January 31, 2010, Mr. Zhang Xiangming and his wife Ms. Liu Meijuan, from Gaozhou City of Guangdong Province, were arrested at a market in Huanzhou City, where they were clarifying the truth about Falun Gong. Currently, they are detained in the Gaozhou Detention Center and their families are not allowed to visit them.
5. [Hengyang City, Hunan Province] Mr. Nie Tingji, Ms. Wang Juan and Mr. Wang Wei Arrested
Mr. Nie Tingji, from Hengyang City of Hunan Province, was arrested. Ms. Wang Juan and Mr. Wang Wei, from Wuxi City of Jiangsu Province were arrested when they delivered truth-clarifying materials. Currently, Ms. Wang Juan has returned to Hengyang City.
Ms. Wang Juan's home was ransacked by two police officers from Wuxi City. The officers confiscated truth-clarifying materials, Dafa books and photos of the founder of Falun Gong.
6. [Chongqing City] Mr. Zhou Liping Arrested Secretly
Mr. Zhou Liping, over 40 years old, was arrested secretly by police officers from Kai County. Currently, he is detained in the Kai County Detention Center.
7. [Shaanxi Province] Additional Information on Practitioners Held in the Shaanxi Women's Forced Labor Camp
Practitioners detained in the Shanxi Women Forced Labor Camp refused to give up their belief and were locked in small cells. Each practitioner is monitored by two drug addict inmates. Practitioners were not allowed to sleep, and had to stand for long hours. They were beaten and not allowed to go to the toilet. Practitioners who went on a hunger strike were tortured with force-feedings. They also were forced to do slave labor for more than 16 hours every day.
8. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Yaofang Arrested
Ms. Wang Yaofang, from Chaigoubao Town of Huainan County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is 58 years old. On May 4, 2009, she was photographed when she was delivering truth clarification materials. Later, she was arrested by officers from the Panjiayuan Police Station, and sentenced to two years in a forced labor camp. Currently, she is detained in the Beijing Forced Labor Camp.
