(Clearwisdom.net) On July 2, for the 13th time, local Falun Gong practitioners participated the Independence Day parade in Columbus, Ohio. More than 60 groups took part in the parade.

Falun Gong's entry

The parade started at 6 p.m. and followed a mile and a half route. The Falun Gong practitioners' float, decorated with lotus flowers, caught many people's attention. Practitioners dressed in pink traditional costumes demonstrated the exercises on the float.

Practitioners passed out many brochures explaining the facts about Falun Gong. Many people were happy to see the Falun Gong group in the parade. Some of them asked for detailed information about learning the exercises and were told that free teaching workshops are held every Wednesday from 5-6 p.m. at the University of Ohio library and every Saturday from 10-11 a.m. at Community Stadium in Dublin.
