(Minghui.org) Many Falun Gong practitioners in Tongliao City have recently been arrested or harassed by the Domestic Security Division located in yhe Horqin District.
Practitioner Ms. Hou Guiqin was arrested at home on March 31. Five police officers broke into her home and arrested her without showing an arrest warrant. An unconscious Ms. Hou was carried into the police car.
Police also ransacked her home without a search warrant and seized more than 60 Falun Gong books, two cell phones, and cash. She was detained until midnight.
Among the officers who arrested Ms. Hou were Shi Wenhui, head of the Horqin District Domestic Security Division; deputy head Xu Jing; an officer surnamed Kong; and a female officer.
Practitioner Ms. Li Xia was arrested at home that night by Horqin District officers, who also ransacked her home and seized Falun Gong books, Shen Yun DVDs, a computer, a cell phone, 150 yuan, and informational materials detailing the persecution of Falun Gong. She was detained until 2:00 a.m.
Practitioner Ms. Dong Guiyun was harassed at home by officers from the Horqin Domestic Security Division in middle of the night on April 1.
Two officers broke into the home of practitioner Ms. Zhang Yunqing.
